Foresto Sukhothai Guesthome

We loved our stay at Foresto. The room was large with a large bathroom, a nice outdoor area and is set in a lovely garden. The pool is great to cool down after a day exploring the historic Old Town. We stayed for 4 nights and breakfast was a buffet on 2 days and a set breakfast on 2 days. The owner, Sun, was very helpful and got us a tuk tuk to take us to Old Sukhothai and to the bus station when we were leaving. They offer a great laundry service. We did a day countryside bike tour with Sukhothai Bicycle Tours which I would totally recommend.

The owner was exceptionally helpful. He even brought a cart to carry our luggage at check-in and checkout. The greenery in the hotel area completely justified the name Foresto. Buffet breakfast was quite good. Many items were available. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Even though the building is relatively old, everything worked properly. Storage racks and furniture in the bedroom were surprisingly ample. There was even a sofa with a coffee table in the bedroom. The terrace outside the room had a table and chairs. These facilities are rarely available except in very high-priced hotels. In short, excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect - beautiful decor, clean, spacious, friendly, lovely pool, amazing food both for breakfast and in the a la carte restaurant. Good location in a quiet street but close to shops and restaurants. The manager goes out of his way to accommodate, with super fast communication, advice and service. The hotel also arranged a taxi to pick us up in Phitsanulok. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in many years of travel, and is outstanding value.

The setting is absolutely fantastic situated in very chilled environment with gardens and lovely swimming pool. Room large with large double bed. Outside area to chill and buffet breakfast within the price. Guy on reception super helpful he got us a tuk-tuk ride to five sights outside the historical park fabulous and advised us on other places to go.

It is a very relaxed environment - with lots of trees and a tropical oasis feel. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was simple but good. The location is pretty much in the middle of new Sukhothai - which is the "real" part of the city but is a very small and quiet town. The historic site is about a 10-15 tuk tuk ride for a small fee.
